Meshkov's last test before PSG
Meshkov will on Wednesday (18.00 CET) in Brest host Serbian champions Vojvodina in their last test before EHF Champion League's match versus PSG.
This will be Vojvodina's fifth match in a row on road and Meshkov will finish their five home-match series. Vojvodina is traveling to Brest with a point from the last round against Borac in Banja Luka. Belarus team will on the other side enter this match in a favorite role with nine points, fifth on League's table. Vojvodina is on the bottom with two points. Guests will play without their captain Danimir Ćurković and youngster Nikola Arsenić with Elezović and Datukashvili still being uncertain due to their injuries.
Željko Babić, Meshkov’s coach
Serious approach is important in this match. We've already played Serbian champions in CL's qualifications at the beginning of September. They are playing fast handball and it surely won't be easy. We'll play with our strongest roster and the only player which has a question mark above his head is David Špiler.
Dmitry Kamyshik, Meshkov’s player
There’re no easy games in this League. Our rivals were really good in our CL's qualification clashes. We're familiar with their playing style and our only goal tomorrow is a win in presence of our fans.
Đorđe Ćirković, Vojvodina’s coach
This is our fifth away match in a row. We have many problems with our squad, we’ll travel to Brest with only 14 players. It won’t be easy but our young players are highly motivated. Our rival is on the other side in a great form which was visible in their clash against Kiel.
Strahinja Stanković, Vojvodina’s player
This will be a really hard match for us. Our rival is great, we're missing many of our important players which means that players who will get a chance have to be on their maximum level.
