Radnički looking for their second home win in a match against NEXE
Radnički traži drugu domaću pobedu, u goste stiže NEXE
Serbian vice-champions Radnički from Kragujevac will try to ensure the second win in the regional SEHA GAZPROM South Stream League against Croatian vice-champions Nexe Našice on Wednesday (19.00 CET). Both teams are waiting for the match in a good mood after well played matches in European competitions with NEXE qualifying for EHF Cup’s group stage and Radnički reaching Challenge Cup’s Last 16. Who will stay on the winning track? We’ll see on Wednesday evening…
Nedeljko Vučković, Radnički’ coach:
My players and I, we are true fighters and we’ll show it on court on Wednesday against NEXE which is lately in better form and they are surely coming to Kragujevac with a wish to catch points. We will play on our best level hopefully, present best handball Kragujevac has and do everything to keep points here.
Slobodan Ervaćanin, Radnički’s player:
We have to stay focused in case we want to catch the best possible result. We have to forget all problems as soon as match starts and start this important three match series which is ahead of us (NEXE, Vojvodina, Metalurg) in a best possible way.
Zdenko Kordi, NEXE's coach:
We will be weakened. Nuić has got problems with his leg, Jurjević hasn’t still recovered from finger injury and Mrđenović, Crnić and Dundović also have certain injury problems. We fully respect our opponents, the play dynamic, aggressive handball. They have with that handball managed to lead against Veszprem after first 30 minutes but our goal is to stay as close as possible to League’s leading teams and if we want to do it we have to bring home points from Kragujevac
Mirko Herceg, NEXE's player:
We have an outstanding atmosphere in the team after catching EHF Cup’s group stage, our motivation has grown and we are going to Kragujevac with a wish of a new victory. It would be great in order to keep this brilliant atmosphere before the end of the first part of the season.
