Veszprem against Tatran after their first defeat of the season
After their first defeat of the season, in EHF’s Champions League against Rhein Neckar Löwen Hungarian champions are looking to get back on winning tracks against Tatran Prešov in SEHA GSS League where they have 9 wins from as much matches. Reaching a new, tenth victory will surely not be easy with Slovak champions Tatran Prešov on the other side of the court. Match will be played on Tuesday, 18:00 CET.
Antonio Carlos Ortega, MKB-MVM Veszprem’s coach:
We have to forget our last match in CL but also learn something from it. We have to keep on going forward there is no time to cry. Our goal tomorrow is clear - a new win. Last Saturday was a big lesson for me and we as a team have to make sure that this doe not happen again.
Cristian Ugalde, MKB-MVM Veszprém’s player:
We’ve played a really horrible match last Saturday, especially speaking of attack and we have to change it. Tatran are a good team, they have showed it so far this season and it won’t be easy but we want to win.
Peter David, Tatran’s coach:
We are completely aware against how great team we’ll play tomorrow. They are leaders of the League and probably one of the best teams in Europe. We have no pressure, I’ll make sure that my players know that. I’d like them to enjoy playing against such an opponent in such an Arena and I’m sure we’ll do our best and in the end reach best possible result.
RadoslavAntl, Tatran’s player:
It will be nice to come back to Veszprem where we’ve already played a few years ago while we were playing in Hungarian League. Those were really tough matches then and I’m sure it won’t be easy tomorrow either. We have to focus on the match and do our best to try to surprise them. We have nothing to lose.
