Eight players left Metalurg, with youngsters versus Vojvodina

Од Металург си заминаа осуммина, против Војводина со млади играчи

Vojvodina Metalurg

Club's president Levce Kitevski has stated that eight important players have left Metalurg. In a duel against Vojvodina, tomorrow (17.30 CET), Metalurg will with youngsters try to reach 3 new important points.

Situation in current Macedonian champion’s roster has finally become clear and unfortunatelly for them eight of their most important, experienced players have decided to continue their careers somewhere else. It is now clear that Naumče Mojsovski, Filip Mirkulovski, Vančo Dimovski, Nikola and Velko Markoski, Dejan Manaskov, Ace Jonoski, Goce Georgievski and Renato Vugrinec have, at least for now, played their last matches in Metalurg’s jersey.

However, Macedonians hope to reach new win in 2015 which would be more than enough to secure sixth place on League's table.

Lino Červar , Metalurg’s coach

Match against Vojvodina is ahead of us and it sure won't be easy but we have to do everything to resist everything bad which has happened. They are a good team, aggressive, fast and experienced. It wont' be easy for our youngsters to face them but we'll do everything to play good, especially in defence and reach good result.

Filip Taleski, Metalurg’s player

We've won first match in Novi Sad, but then we were playing with complete team. We'll now play with different roster but we surely won't surrender. I believe we have a good chance to reach a new win.

Đorđe Ćirković , Vojvodina’s coach:

At the beginning of the second part of the season we’ll play two matches in Skopje and it is clear our chances are bigger against Metalurg. However, even without many changes in their roster thy still have a good team. We have more experience than we’ve had six months ago now and we’ll finally be able to count on the whole team and hope for the best.

Danimir Ćurković, Vojvodina’s player

It will be great to return to court after long period of being absent due to an injury. Our goals, as a club, are to play better than in the first part of the season, especially against clubs which are not stronger than us at the moment and I believe currently Metalurg is one of those clubs. It won’t be easy but we’ll surely have our chances in case we manage to play a good match.
