After two derbies in SEHA GSS League, current champions Vardar will tomorrow play against Vojvodina in a third match in five days and final test ahead of CL's clash Montpellier.

In final four rounds until the end of the regular part of the season Vardar need two wins to completely secure the second place. Macedonians have already secured a place in the next phase in SEHA GSS League as well as in CL but it is always important which place you start from in order to get 'weaker rivals'.

In their last match Vardar were not able to beat PPD Zagreb in Osijek and Vojvodina have reached a draw in a duel against Metalurg in Skopje. It is clear that team from Novi Sad is slowly catching form and that Vardar are experiencing certain troubles but it is however more than certain who is favorite tomorrow.

Raul Gonzalez, Vardar’s coach:

"It will be another tough game for us, because we have two more matches in our schedule in 5 days. Especially because we didn't have time for training after the World Championship in Qatar. We are currently second placed in SEHA GSS, but we need three points to be closer to Final Four tournament. Players are tired a bit but we need a win and more importantly we need to catch best possible form ahead of clash against Montpellier."

"This is a specific period for our team, because we’ve had several players playing in Qatar and it is not easy to ‘click’ back together, we need some time to start playing like we did in the first half of the season. I expect another win, but we have to play well against Vojvodina, which is an ambitious and young team."

This time, we do not have any pressure in terms of the result, as it was two days ago against Metalurg. The only thing we have to provide is our maximum, a lot of courage and sacrifice for the team. Last year we've managed to surprise Vardar winning in Skopje.''
