Veszprem looking for 15th win in a row against Borac Banja Luka
Hungarian top team and current leaders
of SEHA GAZPROM South Stream League, MKB
MVM Veszprem will have a chance to, almost, secure the first place at the end of regular part
of the season on Monday (18.00 CET) in a home match against the team from the
bottom of the League - Borac Banja Luka. It’s clear that Ortega’s team will
have a chance to catch better form against Bosnian champions right ahead
Champions League’s clashes. Hungarians need only four more points from last
four matches to secure pole position before F4 tournament.
Antonio Carlos Ortega, MKB-MVM Veszprém’s head coach:
"I really hope this will be a completely different match because the first one against Borac was one of our worst games so far. We are going to play at home so we must be confident and keep the tempo high to show everyone how good we are. This will be our last home match in SEHA League this season so it would be nice to finish it off with a win for our fans."
Péter Gulyás, MKB-MVM Veszprém’s right wing:
"This will be our last home match this season in the SEHA League and I hope we will again have a chance to play in front of fully crowded hall. Their support is really amazing and we’ll again do everything to make them happy. Our fans are really amazing! Besides, we need to catch best form as soon as possible ahead of CL’s challenges and this will be a good chance to do it."
Igor Rađenović, Borac m:tel’ coach:
"We came to Hungary to give our best in a match against the strongest team in the League. Veszprem are in outstanding form, they’ve managed to beat NEXE and Radnički with 16 goals difference. This will be a nice opportunity for our youngsters fo see how it is to play against some of the best players in the world.’’
Srđan
Trivundža, Borac m:tel player:
"We are eager to play after a month break. We are aware how quality rival will
be on the other side of the court, but we will give our maximum to make match
more interesting. Team is ready and relaxed before the clash."
