SEHA GSS League returns to Našice with NEXE hosting Vojvodina
NEXE se protiv Vojvodine vraća u Našice
After almost two years SEHA Gazprom South Stream League is back to Našice. A few days ago special SEHA GSS League's commision has given their sports hall a 'green light' to host League's matches which means that NEXE will on Wednesday, 18th of February (19.00 CET) at 'King Tomislav' sports hall host Vojvodina Novi Sad. That will be NEXE's first match there after two years of playing in Osijek' Gradski Vrt sports hall. ''I want to thank people in Osijek for great hospitality. However, we are happy that we will play in Našice again. We can't wait for the match against Vojvodina!'',- said NEXE's president Josip Ergović.
This match comes in a good moment for the team from Našice after a big important win against Balatonfuredi in EHF Cup's group stage. On the other side, Vojvodina have a few days ago lost against Danish Skjern and are surely willing to win matches and start playing better.
Zdenko Kordi, NEXE's coach:
- We have some problems because five of our players have got flu or are injured. My opinion is that Vojvodina have got much better team than in the first part of the season. They've showed their quality during the match against Skjern. We have great atmosphere in our team now but in order for it to last we have to keep on training hard, working good and preparing for each match. This time I expect more fans than usually because we will play in Našice.
Josip Božic-Pavletić, NEXE's right wing:
- After a great victory against Balatonfuredi we're now waiting for the match against Vojvodina. They are in good shape but so are we. Playing in našice again means much to us and we'll surely be highly motivated. We expect our fans to support us in a fight for a three new points and League table's sixth place!
Đorđe Ćirković, Vojvodina's coach:
- We are going to Našice to play against a team which has performed great in EHF Cup's first round against Balatonfuredi. We still remember or draw in Novi Sad and we are willing to take revenge.Unfortunately we are going to Našice unprepared, having only one training after the match against Skjern.
Strahinja Stanković, Vojvodina's right wing:
- NEXE are a very good, young and perspective which is playing very well this season. After their victory in EHF's Cup they are surely full of self confidence. It won't be an easy match for us but I believe we can play good against them and maybe reach three new points.
