After almost two years NEXE have returned to Našice and in their first match back at home they were better than Vojvodina with 28:23. Hosts did not open the match well with Vojvodina reaching +4 (1:5) after less than 10 minutes. Coach Kordi has then decided to change defence to 5-1 and it was worth for the team from Našice. They have from that moment on started playing much better reaching only -1 before the half-time whistle and enlarging the goal gap in the second half. Home team's attack was also much better in the second half with Marin Sakić leading it with 6 goals from 6 attempts. Uroš Elezović was on the other side best scorer in Ćirković' team with 7 goals.

We have had a lot of problems ahead of the match and it was visible in opening minutes. After that bitter beginning we've started playing better especially in defence leading us to better chance in attack and we were slowly building our advantage. I would like to thank to all of our fans for support and I'm sure there will be even more of them in matches ahead of us.

I have scored six goals today but I have to say I've had great teammates providing me with this opportunity. I have to praise my teammate Luka Sokolić for playing a great reole in our 5-1 defence which was key for success tonight.

Well deserved win for NEXE, we were not on our level. I don't know why, we can look for explanation in the fact that we were a bit tired but we simply did not play good enought today. We've opened the match well but did not have solutions for NEXE's 5-1 defence later on.
