PPD Zagreb will today host Veszprem, Hungarian giant which is still unbeaten in SEHA GSS League this season. Big question is, can Zagreb after Kiel, Paris and Vardar surprise Hungarians and stop Veszprem's series. If not Vardar will in the last round, in front of their fans, have chance to stop Hungarians and make sure neither team finishes the League without a lost point. However, PPD Zagreb will have a really tough job with Veszprem being in great form winning matches in CL (Montpellier), SEHA GSS League (Meshkov) and national championship (Oroshaza) in last 7 days! Win would bring Zagreb into a great chance of finishing third after the regular part of the season while Veszprem have already secured top spot.

We've already showed this season that we play much better against best teams while we're struggling against teams of our level. Hopefully we'll continue the tradition. I expect this match to be an additional confidence boost for CL's challenges and the fact that's making me happy is that we'll finally be complete, without our full roster!

We've opened the second part of the season with 4 victories and I don't see a reason to stop such great winning streak in Varaždin against Veszprem.

Matches against Zagreb are always intensive because they are a young, very good team. Their defense is excellent; in Champions League they've conceded fewest goals. I guess it speaks for itself. I expect a great match. However we have already won the regular season in SEHA League but we would like to continue our winning streak in this tournament. Very hard challenge is surely waiting for us, because this Zagreb led by coach Vujović is very good, especially at home.

Mirko Alilović, MKB-MVM Veszprém’s goalkeeper: Zagreb are always dangerous at home and now they are going to play especially hard because they would like to finish the regular part of the season on third place. We have already won the regular season, so we will be able to play relaxed and without any pressure. But we are Veszprém so we will play for the win again, we would like to finish the regular season of SEHA League without point lost. Zagreb are a young and good team which they have proved in CL this season and I expect a tough match!
