Tatran will on Thursday in Prešov welcome Vojvodina as a part of SEHA Gazprom League's round 3. This will be first of two of their clashes in three days with the one in EHF CL waiting for them on Saturday. Tatran so far have better score in SEHA League with three victories from four matches while Vojvodina only have two draws from six matches. However, in CL, Vojvodina already has 2 points and Tatran are still without points.

In previous two seasons Tatran were better for all four times, in Prešov with 36:27 and 36:30. Will Vojvodina manage to change this negative record?

Rastislav Trtik, Tatran´s coach:

We always go into the games with only one aim - to win the match. I cannot predict the situation in our team from one day to another one unfortunatelly and now I really do not know who will play on Thursday, because we have a lot of injured players. We still miss Furlan, Urban, Krok and Pogány. Číp picked up a knee ligament injury and will not be available for at least one month. Sadovyi, Kopčo and Petro have some minor health problems. The only positive news is that on Monday Rábek comes back. He has already played one domestic championship match but it's visible he was out for a long time. Despite of all those long term problems I believe we will confirm we're growing better and beat Vojvodina at home. 

Vladimir Božić, Tatran´s goalkeeper:

It will be a very interesting game. We need to fight hard to stay in TOP 4 of SEHA Gazprom League. It will be very difficult because we will play two games in a row against Vojvodina, but we want to win both games at home. If we play well in defence we will have good chances to win these games. Vojvodina have very good players, but we will definitely keep our system and tactics. I am convinced we will be better team and win in Tatran Handball Arena.

Nikola Marković, Vojvodina’s coach:

In Slovakia we will play two games. The first is in SEHA League and another is in Champions League. We're playing matches every three days, it's very hard, but it is an honour to play in two top competitions. Tatran are favorites. Our best player Rastvortsev is injured, he will travel to Prešov but we do not know whether we will be able to count on him. We must play disciplined and fight in order to reach positive results.

Bojan Perović, Vojvodina’s goalkeeper:

Tatran is a very good team. We have two matches in Prešo, and both are important. We will try to implement our own rhythm of the game. We promise a great fighting spirit.
