Unbelievable duo Antl - Hrstka, Tatran better ahead of CL clash
Neuveriteľné duo Antl - Hrstka, Tatran lepší pred súbojom v Lige majstrov
Tatran remains unbeatable for Vojvodina. In the match of round 9 they were in Prešov better with 31:20. It was visible how the match was about to finish already in first 30 minutes when they were leading with 15:9. Slovak team was able to keep the difference with remarkable goalkeeper Igor Chupryna who has finished the match with 16 saves and too fast duo Antl with 7/7 and Hrstka with 4/4.
Their next clash is scheduled for the weekend, also in Prešov but this time in Champions League. Speaking of SEHA Gazprom League, they will both in next fixtures host Borac - Vojvodina in 13 days and Tatran only 4 days later.
Nikola Marković, Vojvodina´s coach:
I would like to congratulate the team of Prešov on their win, because they wanted to win the game much more than us. They play better in SEHA League than in Champions League. They play very well tactically. Despite all this we did not deserve to lose by eleven point difference. As usual we played well only in several moments.
Bojan Todorović, Vojvodina´s centre back:
I want to congratulate Tatran on their victory. What we agreed on in the dressing room, we did on the court only in some moments. I am very sorry for the result as well as the rest of the team. We have to forget this match and prepare well for Saturday.
Rastislav Trtik, Tatran´s coach:
I would like to thank Vojvodina for a fair play game. I would also like to thank our fans for their support and my team for keeping the tactics and disciplined performance. We could see once again that if we keep the tactics we can play anyone. I agree with Vojvodina´s coach that 11 goal difference does not reflect the reality on the court. I am convinced we still have several tactical options for Saturday.
Igor Chupryna, Tatran´s goalkeeper:
We prepared for both games versus Vojvodina in a really serious way. We knew that Vojvodina is a very good team. They play smart handball. We will do everything to win our second home game on Saturday.
