A Veszprém a Vardart fogadja a SEHA Gazprom Liga legnagyobb derbijén
The biggest derby of SEHA Gazprom League is waiting
for us on Tuesday, 18.00 CET with reigning champions Veszprem hosting two-time
champions Vardar. Both teams are among the best in Europe and will by for
important points fight for prestige of beating big rival.
Veszprem will look to extend winning series but also to beat team which was only one able to beat them last season and stop them from having perfect regular season without lost point.
Vardar will on the other hand look for first victory in Veszprem as well as for redemption after losses against PPD Zagreb and Meshkov.
Xavi Sabate, Veszprem’s coach:
We did not play so many games in SEHA League this year but we performed well so far. The most important thing was that everybody got enough playing time and there was no injury in those games. Vardar are better team than they were in the last season. It will be a difficult game especially due to the fact we lack trainings after international week but our rival is in the same situation too. Mirko Alilović and László Nagy will be able to play for sure tomorrow and the situation about Andreas Nilsson will be clear after medical control today. We must win, we play at home and we can count on the support of our fans. No one else can be compared to them. I ask them to come to the game in biggest number and take part in #be8player campaign of SEHA League.
Péter Gulyás, Veszprém’s player:
We must always play to win. Our opponent will be Vardar Skopje which is one of the best teams in Europe at this moment. The best fans of the continent are behind us and I am sure they will prove this in the frame of #be8player campaign of SEHA League and help us a lot during the game once again.
