Raul Gonzales, Vardar´s coach:
- I would like to congratulate Tatran on playing an excellent game. Tatran' is doing a very good job here. It was really demanding game for us. Prešov played very good, they delivered 100% performance. In the first half we've played defence 1-5, but they played fantastic in attack. In the second half we worked hard, but they continued with their excellent display. In the end we won by a single goal, but it could have easily been a draw. I am very happy, because everybody in my team played a good game. We remain on top of SEHA League creating an excellent position to qualify for Final Four.
Dejan Manaskov, Vardar´s left wing:
- Tatran Prešov have played really good match today. It was a hard clash. Maybe we did not start the game how we wanted. In the first half we did not play so good. In the second half the coach changed the defence and it was a bit better. In the end of the game we were luckier and we won, but Tatran deserves our huge respect.
Rastislav Trtik, Tatran´s coach:
- I am happy that we managed to play really nice game before our fans. I would like to congratulate Vardar on their lucky but deserved victory in the match. This game could not disappoint even the most demanding spectator in the stands. It was dramatic clash from the very beginning till the end. We have been playing without left-handed players on the right back for one month, but today we were able to compensate it a bit. Everything bad is good for something. Youngsters as Dominik Krok, Lukáš Urban or Ľuboš Šárpataky were given more space in the game. We've played our game but in the end we've missed to make our attacking pressure, especially from the back line, count speaking of points. We've made a dignified farewell with our fans in the end of the year. I wish Vardar good luck in the next year.
Dominik Krok, Tatran´s left back:
- At first I would like to congratulate Vardar on their win. It was a tied game from the early beginning until h end. It is a huge pity because we've had a chance at least to draw the game against the top European team Vardar Skopje. The game must have delighted all fans in Tatran Handball Arena. We managed to make up for our last two losses to Borac and NEXE. Today we showed that we are able to play a narrow game against such strong teams as Vardar Skopje are.
