Radovanovic leads Dinamo to the victory in a Serbian clash
Derby in the tenth round between Dinamo and Vojvodina ended 22:20 in favour of the hosts. Key role in Dinamo’s win was played by their goalkeeper Nikola Radovanovic who had 13 saves.
Vojvodina started the match playing tough defence, as the hosts were not able to score until the fifth minute, when Miljan Bunjevcevic scored to make the score 1:2. Vojvodina dominated in this away match and held the 3 goal lead going into the half (9:12).
Head coach Ivan Petkovic was able to wake his team up, and by midway through the second half they tied the score up (15:15) with an excellent goal by Bunjevcevic. It was a sign of better play and a comeback. Dinamo took the lead, and managed to hold on until the end of the half, helped by some key saves from Radovanovic to give them their second win over Vojvodina this season.
Milan Mirkovic with six goals and Miljan Bunjevcevic with five were the top scorers for Dinamo, meanwhile on the other side, Vojvodina’s Grozdanic and Nadoveza found the net five times. Dimitrije Jelic recorded 12 saves for Vojvodina.
