Steaua looking to prolong positive streak against Metalurg

Steaua Bucuresti managed to raise their form last week reaching an important national championship win against CSM Bucharest as well as defeating Izvidjac in SEHA - Gazprom League.
Last two regional league matches Romanian vice-champions will play at home with the first one being scheduled for Friday (18.15 local time) when they will welcome Metalurg who are arriving without one of their key players – left back Aleksander Spende.
Ovidiu Mihaila, Steaua Bucuresti coach:
We’re close to the end of this competition with two more matches ahead of us – against Metalurg and Zeleznicar. This will be a tough game as we’re dealing with some fatigue and Metalurg have a roster full of young, well-motivated players. I hope we’ll find strength to celebrate on Friday. I believe we used our rookie season in the competition in a good way.
Javier Humet, Steaua Bucuresti player:
Being a part of SEHA League was really great experience. We will once again give everything we’ve got out there in order to reach new win.
Danilo Brestovac, Metalurg coach:
Another tough match is ahead of us. Aleksander Spende will not play in this one but despite of that we will try to make a surprise. All other players will be ready to give everything they have.
Milan Lazarevski, Metalurg player:
Steaua have a very good team with some Balkan players like Vujic, Grbovic, Kedzo and Vegar who have a lot of experience. They suffered a few defeats in national championship in the beginning of the season which caused some priority modifications for them. I believe in this team, especially because we’ll be able to count on newest reinforcements Dupjacanec and Coric.
